Food vendors will be in charge of and responsible for their own cash intake. Food vendor pricing includes one (1) 20 amp/120 volt outlet, water, trash service, food waste disposal, public seating area, and overnight site security. There will be a $35 fee for additional electrical outlets. Vendors must provide their own tent, cooking accommodations and other enclosures. Pricing is determined as follows:

Single Item Food Vendors (kettle corn, coffee, dessert items, etc.)
$300 for a 10x10 space (includes $50 refundable deposit)

Full Menu Food Vendors
$525 for a 10x20 space (includes $50 refundable deposit)

Welcome Food Vendors!

The 2013 Festival is scheduled for Saturday, June 29, Noon – 9:30pm; and Sunday, June 30, Noon – 7:30pm.

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the Annual Good in the Hood Multicultural Music & Food Festival.  This year it’s going to be BIG.., we’re celebrating 21 years of hosting the Festival; we’re going back to our original name; AND we’re moving to a larger site, still in the “hood”; Lillis-Albina Park located on N. Flint and Russell Streets,

Earlybird Registration JUNE 1, 2013 ($25 off)

We will market to over 30,000 residents living within the NECN target area, and the Portland Metro Area, to include Vancouver, Washington.  We ask that all vendors help to get the word out through their marketing venues. Flyers and posters will be available for distribution after June 1, 2013, and can be obtained through your GITH representative. 


All fees must be paid by June 14, 2013.   Applications accepted after June 14 will be assessed a non-refundable late fee of $50 and space will not be guaranteed.

The refundable deposit and ½ of the required vendor fee must accompany each application.  The deposit will be fully refunded after break down on the last day of the Festival, and the vendor area has been inspected by the Vendor Coordinator (or their representative).  All fees will be refunded if application is not accepted. Sorry, but we are unable to accept credit card payments.


Each vendor must furnish proof of a current Multnomah County temporary Restaurant License or current mobile unit license, as well as general liability insurance. Multnomah County’s temporary restaurant license is $100.  For information on how to obtain your license and permit contact: Multnomah County Health Department at 503-988-3400.

Early Setup

If you choose to set-up on Friday, contact a GITH Food Vendor Coordinator regarding special instructions for Friday set-up. Otherwise, set-up starts at 7am on both Saturday, June 29 and Sunday June 30, and all vendors must be set up and ready to go by 11am. Early set-up must be approved by the GITN Food Vendor Coordinator. Vendors will not be allowed to break down early due to safety regulations.

Please Note: All information must be accurate and legible.  Approved vendors will be notified in writing or by email within 10 days upon receipt of application.  Space will be assigned on a first –approved and first-paid basis.   The Good in the Hood reserves the right to decline food vendor applications or adjust booth assignments based upon application guidelines, food vendor history, product equality, repetition, space availability & site layout considerations, booth appearance and other pertinent factors as determined solely by the Good in the Hood Planning Team.  Applications without the appropriate fee, copy of temporary or restaurant license, and proof of insurance will not be processed.

We reserve the right to limit items sold based on duplication of products.  Approved items will be listed on your acceptance notification.
